2023 Wrapped: Finding Clarity Through Reflection and Focus

Sooooo time to wrap up 2023, right ? 😄

I wanted to write this post a few days ago, but just landing a few words here started a whole intro/retrospect thing in my mind, full of contradictory and conflicting observations. 🤯

And it pretty sums up 2023 for me : Having everything aligned for the best outcomes, but finding it surprisingly challenging to find my way and make the best of it. When out of enthusiuasm you want to be impactful on so many things at the same time, you end up feeling you have not that much impact - which is very energy draining. I might seem to overdramatize hé, but just a general feeling. 🤷‍♂️

Happy that I could see things more clearly during these last few weeks of the year, thanks to insightful conversations with Daniel Zerkowitz, Kristof Hoebeke, Alain VANDERBEKE (you might not even remember it, but the last chat we had during the closing drink still resonates today) and of course my wife Caroline Guillemin. 💗

2023 was also the year of new things, and the biggest and most thrilling one was obviously doing my first steps in public speaking thanks to the organizers of Agile Tour Brussels who trusted me and to the audience for the great interactivity and response ! Let's make it bigger in 2024, new talks are in preparation ! 😊

This is the takeaway I'll start 2024 with : Focus and tangibles goals are crucial : The reward of your first efforts will be the fuel for the next ones, and so on ! ⚡
