What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the site owners.
How do we use cookies?
The website www.hypeup.be uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”), which helps us analyze how the site is used. To this end, Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer.
The information generated by the cookies about your use of the site – standard internet log information (including your IP address) and visitor behavior information, all analyzed anonymously – is transmitted to Google, which stores it, including on servers located in the United States. We anonymize your IP address before sending it to Google.
In accordance with the EU–US Privacy Shield certification, Google states that it complies with the framework set out by the EU–US Privacy Shield. Google may transfer the information collected by Google Analytics to third parties when required by law, or when such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf.
The Google Analytics Terms of Service specify that Google does not link the data subject’s IP address to any other data held by Google.
You may refuse the use of Google Analytics cookies by downloading and installing the browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics: Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies are also used to determine whether the user has accepted (or refused) the use of cookies on the www.hypeup.be so that the question is not asked every time they visit the site.
The www.hypeup.be website may also use the Facebook Pixel, a service that allows the creation of targeted audiences for advertising on the Facebook social network. Managing cookies in your browser
Most browsers allow you to:

If you choose to delete your cookies, please be aware that any preferences you may have set will be lost. In addition, if you block all cookies, many websites (including ours) will no longer function properly, and video streaming will not be possible at all. For this reason, it is not recommended to block cookies when using our streaming services.
