Building a Dynamic Website from LinkedIn Content with AI
This weekend, we finished turning my static consultant website into a bilingual dynamic feed-based website using my LinkedIn content. 🤩
This is my first attempt at building something relevant for me using Claude Code, and I love how it's working.
In a nutshell:
→ The app scraped my whole LinkedIn content: for every post, the text, image, Top comments and reaction counters
→ For each post, it created on-the-fly a French translation, a title in both languages, determined a post category based on the content + meta descriptions for Google
→ It pushed the whole thing into a database on my WIX website
Meanwhile, my wife Caroline Guillemin redesigned my website to make it dynamic content-first: Homepage, "Articles" page and a specific dynamic page per post (hello SEO 👋).
To keep the content up to date, the app automatically syncs it twice a day, picks up new posts and updates the "ripple effect" info (counters and Top Comments)
👉 The goal here is not to leave LinkedIn, but there is something reassuring in the idea that if the site goes down (temporarily or forever) the content I've spent hours on is secured in a place I have full control over and creates extra visibility and online presence.
We already had this idea of including my posts on my website a few months ago, which we dismissed due to the extra manual work it would need on a daily basis. Now, it just runs automatically.
This is how I see the possibilities brought by Claude or other vibe coding tools: I'm not claiming I can build scalable apps that will "revolutionize the market", but solving my own problems in ways that weren't possible even 2 years ago… I love that 😍
