Cleaning up 7,000 lines of MySpace-era dead code

Your website might be old and full of dead code, but is it "MySpace references" old? 👴

This week, I asked Claude to help me dig into the codebase of my old website, Shoot Me Again, which I hadn't touched in years (still up and running, though).

One public page still built an embedded... MySpace player. It had been throwing a 500 error for years. Nothing pointed to it anymore... but it was still sitting there.

So we went on a raid: about 7,000 lines of dead code gone. 🥷

5,991 bands still carry a MySpace address in our DB, though. 😅
