Turning Galerapagos into a workplace serious game

Question to the Serious Games aficionados - have you ever explored "repurposing" Galerapagos into a Serious Game? 😄

There are crazy similarities between the context of this game (Your ship wrecked and you need to survive and escape a desert island) and a professional project going wrong:

→ The option to shamelessly throw a teammate under the bus (in the game it's way more radical but still)
→ You can seemingly work for the team while you're just trying to save your own ass
→ Every small decision can turn into an endless discussion (water or wood?)
→ Most players have the strategy to keep some resources for themselves "just in case"
→ You're never fully sure you can trust others at 100%
→ Things NEVER go according to plan
→ At the end, even if everyone else died in the game, you can be the winner 😅

I would be really curious to see the mechanics of this game adapted to work context, as I'm sure it would be really relatable 😄

Yes we have considered it a couple of years ago. We however didn't pursuit it since it's a game that rewards bad behaviour. Sure we could learn from this and there is emotions involved. We didn't think it would land well...there is definitely some learning in it though

When the speed boat 🚤 becomes ship wreck. There is definitely a card to play in a serious game workshop with a team.

I never used it, actually never played the acclaimed board game Galerapagos but I very much like the idea!
