Cross-Company Agile Communities: Sharing Journeys and Insights

Yesterday morning, the Agile community at Elia Group met the Agile community at Fluvius for a 2-hour session of experience sharing. 💡

As a part of this session, we could follow Tyrone Verstraete explain the current transformation journey of Fluvius. It’s always very inspiring to follow the story of another company. Even if we’re facing similar challenges, the journey is always different. Sometimes with radical changes, sometimes with interesting nuances. 📈

This was also the perfect opportunity to practice my live recording skills, so the picture you see here is the visual summary of this journey, done during Tyrone’s explanation + 15 minutes of finetuning and detailing. 🎨

My takeaway is more of a confirmation : even if you learn a lot from your Agile community on a daily basis, these cross-community experience speedruns are very energizing… and give a new perspective to your daily situations. 🔥

Thanks Geert Van Aken and Thomas Rafflin for brilliantly arranging and facilitating this on Elia Group side, thanks Fluvius Agile community for the impulse (Karen De Boeck and Dimitri Bauwens and Rosemien if I understood correctly) and the great talks we had yesterday! Let’s do that again! ✌️

Thank you, Erik Collard 🔥 , congrats with the great visualisation. I was a happy participant too, no organiser this time 😀. Indeed it was Rosemien Magnus who was part of the Fluvius organising team. All credits to her and her fellow organisers to take the initiative, prepare and facilitate this wonderful learning experience. We all left the room with new insights and food for thought. Steps to apply the insights are already taken 🌱

Thanks Erik Collard 🔥 what a spot on visual and summary!

It was a real pleasure to share our transformation journey at Fluvius. Sessions like this are so valuable because they allow us to learn from each other through real and practical experiences. They help clarify our own thinking by showing how others deal with similar challenges and ambitions.

It was equally insightful to get a closer look at Elia Group’s journey. The similarities, the differences and the openness in sharing made it a truly enriching exchange.

A warm thank you again to Thomas Rafflin and Rosemien for facilitating the session and making it all happen, and to the full transformation communities of Elia Group and Fluvius for the openness and engagement.

Let us definitely keep the connection going!

Tyrone
