From Scrum Master to Agile Coach: Leveling Up Your Practice

Since a few months, I have the chance to combine my role of Scrum Master for one team with being the Scrum Master / Agile Coach for its entire Product Line (6 teams in total).

While the core skills for both stances are quite similar, some specific situations when overseeing things on a higher level require a different perspective and enable different obstacles as well. That's why I decided yesterday morning to pass this exam (in a "it's been a while since I passed a cert" moment) which kept me busy for a part of the evening 😊

My first takeaway: Passing an exam about the job you're currently doing feels quite smooth 😄 Real situations, very comparable to some conversations I'm having on a daily basis

My main and most transparent takeaway: Some questions that I replied correctly because they felt easy... don't always match with how I actually act in the real world 🧐 So that's a good reality check and an opportunity for realigning my work with the best practices as well.

Definitely worth it! 🙌
