Gender Symbols and Unconscious Bias: What We Don't See Daily

Kudos to Womenpreneur-Initiative for turning the female gender symbol downside up in their logo. It caught my attention while getting out of the station in Brussels-North.

What made me reflect is that… I never noticed how the gender symbols could reinforce our gender biases. One pointing up, one pointing down. How strong are these symbols? We don’t really notice on a daily basis… but unconscious biases are the deepest ones.
