How AI unlocks skills you thought were impossible

I read a lot of concerns about AI making us unable to do things by ourselves, like thinking, creating, etc.

But lately I noticed the opposite : with AI, I'm able to do things I wouldn't have even dared to start before:

🪚 Building an outdoor kitchen counter (didn't know where to start, Claude helped me make a plan and select the right materials)
☀️ Plugging my solar inverters into my NAS to monitor my solar production (never heard of an RS485 cable before)
⚡️ Opening my EV charger to plug in an RJ45 cable, without killing myself or burning my new car
🪲 Resolving 6 years of bugs on my old website Shoot Me Again in just one weekend

💡 The key here is : Stay in charge. Don't delegate the thinking, and pause when you don't understand where you're going anymore.

I learnt more new things in the last year than in the previous 10, and I completely stopped being scared of things I don't know yet. 🤩

How AI will affect your brain and sharpness depends on how you use it.
How you use it depends on your mindset.
Keep a learning mindset, and everything will be fine 🤷🏻‍♂️
