Make Business Communication Fun Without Losing the Message
To me, this is customer communication done right. 👇
Both in external and internal interactions, the fun factor in business / corporate communication is often seen as something you do at the expense of information. Like in, do we need say something important, or do we want to be fun? This fake dichotomy often leads to useless "fun" messages or activities from which there is nothing to take on one side 🙄, and long boring messages about important stuff on the other side. 😴
"We have important news to share, you will find every detail in this 74-page PowerPoint that you need to read before attending this unidirectional 2-hour session". Aaaaaaaaaaaand you just lost most your audience. 💁♂️
In this case, all the information I needed is marked in blue. But the yellow part, made of modern absurd sense of humor, made me re-read it. And eventually I noticed that I reserved 12:15, while I was sure I had reserved at 12:00. 😅
Humor doesn't remove attention from the main message, it emphasizes it. And adds this dose of boldness that makes look forward even more to going there! 😊
