Make continuous learning non-negotiable in your culture

💕 Here's what I wish for you today: a working environment where continuous learning is truly part of the culture.

Not in words, but in facts.

Concretely, it means having time blocked in your agenda, on a regular basis, to share experiences and learn from your peers. Not when there's time left. Otherwise it won't happen (there's never time left 🤷🏻‍♂️).

The Agile Chapter at Elia Group is one example of that (led by Frieda Tanski and Olivier Masset, the other cool guy on the picture 😄). One day every two weeks to work on our initiatives, but also to learn from each other and stay aligned on what our role is really about. I leave every session more energized and inspired than when I walk in. 💡

Community of Practice, Chapter Time, you name it… if it's not in your agenda, make it happen! 🔥

Do you have something like that where you work? Any approach or format to suggest?

I wish to your next customer to receive as much from you as we received. They are lucky to have you on board. Your are a unicorn! One of the most professional, proactive, dynamic and reliable people I worked with. You identify the need, you work hard on it and you deliver with a huge smile whatever the difficulties. I wish you the best possible. Elia Group will miss you, I’m missing you already ☀️I can’t wait to see you on stage the 24th of November 💪 … more

Olivier Masset Ooooooh you know, it was simply a match. I've been doing jobs in which i was barely average, and I was the same person. It needs a great environment to make great collaboration happen (including the huge smiles and the bad jokes). 🫶 … more
