Nailing Your First 30 Days: A Speaker's Journey

For the first time, I will be a speaker at the XP Days Benelux! 🎉

I'm hosting a session called "How to Nail (or fail) your first 30 days in a new team" and that's where the doll I shared here a few weeks ago comes into play 😄

Her name is Denise. During this session, we will impersonate her and help her nailing her journey with her new team. What are the challenges? How should she approach her new role? How to make sure that she's not doing too much, but also that she's doing enough? We will use a couple of psychological principles and behavioral science to understand what happens in ourselves in such situations - from the perspective of the newcomer and from the existing team members.

Honored to be a part of the lineup along with friendly faces such as Wouter Lagerweij, Suzanne Lagerweij, Jan Van Der Burgt, Linda van de Gevel - Hakkens, Tom Jans, Jürgen De Smet 💥, Jan De Baere, Jan Verstrepen, Koen Vastmans, Dana Garcia, Eddy Bruin, Barry Overeem, Robert van Lieshout, Deborah Nerinckx, Per Beining Team Developer and Agile Coach, Jan de Vries, Erik de Bos, Siegfried Segers, Chris Verlinden and new friends Hafedh Messaoudi, Bas Klinkhamer, Sophie Van Der Mierden, Justyna P., Ganesh Kumar Suresh, Nicole Belilos, Maaike Meulendijks, Joanna Masraff 🌱, Sathpal Singh, Ken Vernaillen, Bert Heymans, Allen Jellas, Moisés Macero García, Marije Zijlstra - looking forward to see you all there 😊

Gutted to be planned at the same timeslot as Maryse Meinen 🍀, Jürgen Maus, Karen De Boeck and Hanne Verbeeck, but it relieves me from impossible choices 😅

Get your tickets NOW and join us! 🙌

If I look like namedropping like a j*rk, it's because I am! 💁‍♂️

Since I saw you jumping on the stage of Agile Tour Brussels 2023, I keep on being baffled by your speaker talent and your way to pitch the content of your speech! Well done, keep going and we’ll see you as keynote speaker!

Jord

Sorry I won’t be here, send Denise my regards! Btw why « Denise »?
