New Chapter: From Scrum Master to Scrum Coach at Tribe Level

Today I’m starting a new journey as Scrum Coach in the Digital Engagement Tribe at Telenet group. Even if I officially switched from Scrum Master to Scrum Coach more than one year ago, I feel like it didn’t change that much in my Daily job… until now. The new Operating Model of Telenet is kicking in today (now you know why such a ridiculous amount of Telenet colleagues updated their LinkedIn profile over these 3 days 😄) and it was the perfect opportunity to reshape and redesign the Scrum Coach role.

Both officially and concretely, it means that instead of being 100% assigned to Squads (Scrum Teams) and doing the rest between the soup and the potatoes (here goes my favorite Dutch expression), I will now structurally do specific / minor / ad hoc Scrum Team support and focus most of my time on improving flow, customer-centricity and efficiency on Tribe level and coaching other Scrum Masters of the Tribe. Yeah, I guess it’s what other companies call “Agile Coach” but hey, what’s in a name ? 😄

Both excited and humbled for this new turn in my Agile journey and looking forward to see how I can help leveraging things on that level ! 🙌
