1 Month In: Onboarding and Company Culture at Mercedes

1 month today at Mercedes-Benz Customer Assistance Center Maastricht NV ✌️

Time freaking flies, but looking back on this first month, a lot has happened already:

→ New team members joined (so I'm not the newbie anymore)
→ I now understand what we are working on and who we are doing it for
→ Our first PI Planning is behind us, and we have a clear direction for the next few Sprints
→ Company culture influences company habits, which influence personal habits (I'll get back to this in a few days)
→ I had the chance to meet a lot of people, all eager to help, because asking (a lot of) questions is still the best way to onboard

My biggest discovery so far is actually a confirmation:

Working for a strong brand really helps to build a common direction. Mercedes posters everywhere in the office, star symbols used as voting dots on Mural boards... the brand attachment is strong, and you can feel it in the room!
