Speaking about measurable OKRs at Journée Agile 2026

This is how we all get tricked when setting up OKRs 👇

We organize an OKR session and define beautiful Key Results. "Yep, we'll track that." 😎

Two months later:
"Uhhh. No clue where we are. It's not easy to measure, you know." 😖

Here's the fix, and it's super simple:

Include the baseline in the Key Result itself:
Not "reach 65%".
But "go from 35% to 65%".

💡 If you can measure it today, you can measure it tomorrow.

If not... choose something else. Something you can measure from Day 1 🤷🏻‍♂️

Any other ideas for defining KRs you can actually follow?

Erik Collard Adding the baseline is a game-changer because it stops "vanity metrics" before they start. To take it a step further: I always encourage teams to review these KRs during bi-weekly check-ins, not just at the end of the quarter. What is your favorite trick to keep metrics actionable from Day 1?
