Speaking about OKRs at Journée Agile: A History Lesson

OKR's, "the new shiny thing"? Naaaaah.
They're old. Like, older than me (and I turned 45 this weekend).

Andy Grove cooked them up at Intel back in the 70s and at that time, it was basically Management by Objectives slightly revisited.

Then two big moments :
→ 1999, John Doerr implements them into Google.
→ 2017, his book Measure What Matters drops, and suddenly EVERYONE wants OKRs (my boy is good in marketing).

It will not change the way you write and track your OKRs, but it will earn you a few street cred points 😎

Already running them where you work? Tell me how it's going 👇
